McIntosh
Medium red and green apple, sweet, crunchy, very juicy and slightly acidic. Its flesh is white sometimes tinged with red. Apple most cultivated in Quebec. Excellent chewable apple and good apple for cooking. It partially dissolves during cooking but retains its color. Can be kept for several months in a controlled atmosphere.
